Speaking on Thursday Romanian Football Federation manager Ionut Lupescu said: "Radu Stefan hasn't been answering the phone for three months. It is a problem of attitude on his part. If he doesn't answer the phone, I don't understand how can he be called in to the national team."
Romania meets Ukraine on 29 May, Macedonia on 2 June and Honduras on 5 June in friendly matches.
I think Radu is an excellent player and vital to the team, but if he won't answer the phone then I don't know how he can be helped...
